The export volume amounts to more than 132,000 francs for every full-time equivalent in the Rhine Valley. The Swiss average here stands at around 40,000 francs. Of the 10.5 billion francs in export volume of Canton St. Gallen, the Rhine Valley accounts for more almost half at more than 4 billion.
